Still unsure about something? These might help before reaching out

  • I always recommend reaching out as soon as you know you’d like a session — it’s never too early to get on the calendar. During the busy seasons, I usually book photoshoots on weekdays since weekends are often filled with weddings. That said, if you’re hoping for a weekend, don’t hesitate to ask. If I’m available, I’d love to make it work!

  • Absolutely! I love capturing meaningful moments in beautiful locations — whether it’s portraits, families, couples, or special events. Travel fees may apply for destinations outside my usual service area, but just reach out and I’ll happily provide a custom quote.

  • I edit every image that tells the story best — all the good ones make the cut. I don’t like putting a strict number on it because every session is different, but on average, I deliver 50+ photos per hour. I never hold back, so you can expect a full, beautiful gallery with plenty of images to love.

  • If it rains, I’ll absolutely work with you to reschedule — your session fee can be credited toward a future date. I typically wait until we’re within 24 hours of the shoot to make any weather-related calls, since forecasts in New England can change fast (sometimes even just a couple hours ahead). That said, not all clouds are bad! Overcast skies can create beautiful, soft light that photographs incredibly well. So if the sun’s hiding, don’t worry — your photos will still be magical.

  • I don’t deliver RAW or unedited images, as editing is an essential part of how I tell your story. The final gallery reflects my creative vision and style — it’s part of the experience you’re hiring me for.

  • Neutrals or earthy tones are always a beautiful choice — they photograph so well and won’t take the attention away from you. Try to avoid bold patterns or logos, as they can be distracting. I usually suggest bringing two outfits: one casual and one a little more dressed up, so we can add variety. Be mindful of the location and how your outfit fits the setting. And if you’re unsure, I’m always here to help — whether it’s sharing outfit inspiration, helping you plan the vibe, or giving honest feedback on what you’re thinking of wearing.

  • Absolutely! I love when pets join in — they’re part of the family, after all. Just let me know ahead of time so I can be fully prepared and make sure everything goes smoothly.

  • Absolutely! If you’re feeling a little awkward in front of the camera — you’re not alone. I’d say 95% of my clients tell me the same thing. While my shooting style is very candid, I also give lots of gentle direction during sessions. I’ll guide you on where to stand, what to do with your hands, and offer little prompts to help you move naturally. I always leave space for real connection and am watching for those in-between moments that feel like you. You’ll settle in before you know it, and the magic will unfold from there.
